One of LLY's goals is to provide its members with knowledge about politics and civic engagement, to develop their competencies and soft skills. We achieve this by organizing events, discussions, rallies, as well as by preparing political reactions, starter guides, and other documents.
Each year, Lithuanian Liberal Youth organizes various events and discussions aimed at strenghtening members’ knowledge on relevant topics.
Academies
Spring, summer, and autumn Academies are events dedicated to educating young people and developing their skills. These events include lectures, discussions, debates, practical activities, and meetings with politicians and public figures.
Internal events
Internal events invite branch presidents, their branch bureau and the team of bureau assistants. During these events, participants strengthen their organizational knowledge, analyze the organization’s activities, and develop leadership skills.
"Let's get to the point"
“Let’s Get to the Point” is a discussion series aimed at strenghtening knowledge on current issues. During these discussions, we engage politicians, party leaders, public figures, and candidates in presidential, parliamentary, or municipal elections of the Republic of Lithuania.
Self-Development
To help new members integrate more quickly and learn essential information about LLY we offer a new member’s handbook, current and future presidents are offered a president's starter guide, which provides key information about leadership and practical advice for effectively managing a branch. For those wishing to deepen their understanding of politics, we offer an introductory guide to political ideas and ideologies.
